Anchor Necklace- Riveted Silver and Copper
This large anchor pendant is made of copper with a reticulated silver surface. The unique look of this piece comes from heating silver to point that it melts and flows onto the copper as liquid then quickly cooling it to develop the characteristic wrinkles and warts. The Anchor is lightly buffed to bring out some contrast, then finished with a polished bronze rivet to hold it onto a large rope-like bronze ring. The anchor with ring is 2.5" tall and 1.5" at its widest point and hangs on a 20" oxidized silver chain. Made entirely by hand in Portland Oregon Because this unique item is made to order the pattern and texture will vary from the anchor pictured.    |
