Tatine has some amazing new scents in their Spring line. Lucia is a bright clean line of Candles made with organic fair trade soy wax as well as soaps in coordinating and complimentary scents enriched with organic shea butter. Sakura Sensorial To celebrate the season we will be hosting a cherry blossom sensory experience. First, you will be greeted with our stunning visual display in our store window. Then will be offering one of our all-time favorite teas, Fleur de Geisha, a green tea scented with cherry blossoms. We will show the proper way to brew this delicate tea, then we will taste it brewed several different ways. Finally, we will do our best to present a Japanese incense ceremony, demonstrating an ancient and sacred method of burning incense on charcoal. The incense we will be using is made from plum paste, cherry blossoms, honey and sacred woods and spices, then buried in clay pots for several months and sometimes years before being formed by hand into small spheres to be burned upon charcoal.
